Earth Bars

Earthbars, sometimes referred to as switchroom earthbars, are used to provide a convenient way of providing a common earth point. We stock various sizes and configurations of Earthbars, all manufactured from high conductivity copper bar to BS-A-260:1976 / BS3643-1:2007 with a typical Cu content in excess of 99.9%. The standard range of earthbars is available with either single, twin or without disconnectable links. These bars come complete with M10 x 35mm brass machine screws set at 50mm centres to allow for connection of cable lugs up to 400m² or 500mm wide earth tape. The bars are also mounted on a mild steel channel base which has 6mm diameter holes to allow for immediate installation, without the need to disassemble the earthbar.

This totally bespoke service is tailored to your requirements. Any size of copper bar can be sourced, fixing materials changed and channel bases redesigned to enable an earthbar to be engineered to suit your project specification. Earthbars can also be provided within polycarbonate enclosures for clean earth and MEIGaN equipotential bonding systems.
